Lumidha Coaching
Just as no single photograph can capture every side of a person, no single method can fully explain who someone is. By looking through multiple lenses, a far more complete picture begins to emerge.
Our coaching approach brings together several traditional systems that have been used for centuries to better understand human nature, relationships, and personal development.
Although these methods originated in different parts of the East, they share a common philosophy. Rather than explaining a person through a single characteristic, each explores a different dimension of who we are. Together, they provide complementary perspectives that create a richer understanding of the individual.
At Lumidha, these perspectives form the foundation of our coaching approach. We begin with the Sense Profile, which explores how you naturally perceive and interpret the world. We then explore the Spring Profile, Star Profile, and Sign Profile, which together form the Integrated Profile.
For couples, these different lenses help uncover what each person brings into the relationship and what happens when those qualities meet.
For singles, they offer something equally valuable: a clearer understanding of your own needs, patterns, and natural way of relating, along with the qualities and relationship dynamics that may complement you particularly well.
Spring Profile
You inherited more than your eye color.
The Spring Profile is based on the traditions of Mian Xiang, Mukha Lakshana, and the principles of Wu Xing.
Within these traditions, the face is viewed as a map of inherited qualities and natural tendencies that have been passed down through generations. Just as we inherit our physical characteristics from our family, these methods hold that our facial architecture also reflects aspects of our innate disposition and the ways we naturally engage with the world.
At Lumidha, we use the Spring Profile to explore those inherited influences and how they may shape your relationships, attraction, communication, vitality, emotional needs, and instinctive responses.
It can also offer another perspective on what naturally draws you toward certain people and what kinds of qualities may provide balance, vitality, or familiarity within a relationship.
Rather than defining who you are, the Spring Profile gives us one important piece of a much bigger puzzle.
Star Profile
Life doesn't stand still, and neither do relationships.
The Star Profile is based on the principles of Kyusei-Kigaku, a traditional Japanese system that explores how changing cycles influence the way we experience life and relate to others.
Unlike the Spring Profile, which focuses on inherited influences, the Star Profile explores your present-day nature. Although your core profile remains constant throughout life, the changing rhythms of months and years influence how your qualities are expressed and how you naturally connect with the people around you.
For couples, this can help explain why certain dynamics create balance and vitality while others bring contrast, challenge, or opportunities for growth.
For singles, it can reveal something different: how you naturally approach connection, which dynamics tend to complement you, and how changing cycles may influence the way you experience relationships at different points in life.
Because who fits you isn't only about who looks good on paper. Timing and dynamics have a way of joining the party too.
Sign Profile
If life came with directions, this would be the closest thing.
The Sign Profile is based on Jyotishastra, the traditional system of Vedic astrology. Of all the methods used at Lumidha, this is often the most familiar to people in the West because it also works with the twelve zodiac signs. However, the similarities largely end there.
Unlike Western astrology, which is based on the tropical zodiac, Jyotishastra uses the sidereal zodiac, aligning the signs with the actual positions of the constellations in the sky. Because the Earth's axis slowly shifts over time, your Vedic Sun sign is often different from the Sun sign you may already know. For many people, it is the sign immediately preceding their Western Sun sign.
At Lumidha, the Sign Profile explores your directional nature, revealing the deeper direction in which you naturally grow and the qualities that bring a greater sense of purpose and fulfillment.
Within an existing relationship, this can help reveal whether two people naturally move toward similar aspirations, complement each other's direction, or need room to pursue different paths.
If you're single, it can help clarify something equally important: what kind of future you're actually building and what kind of person could fit into it.
Because finding somebody is one thing.
Finding somebody who wants to head in roughly the same direction is another.
More Than Methods
Understanding yourself can change the relationships you have and the ones you choose next.
Relationships can be confusing. So can being single.
You may love someone deeply and still keep running into the same misunderstandings. Or you may find yourself repeatedly attracted to similar people, wondering why relationships don't seem to last, or questioning what kind of partnership would genuinely suit you in the first place.
That's where getting to know yourself can change the picture.
Our goal isn't to overwhelm you with theories or squeeze you into a particular profile. The profiles give us different ways to explore who you are, what you need, what you bring into relationships, what tends to trip you up, and which qualities in another person may complement your own.
For couples, that can mean understanding the relationship already in front of you from a completely different angle.
For singles, it can mean moving beyond “Who am I attracted to?” toward a much more useful question:
“Who might actually be a great match for the person I am?”
Different starting points. Same goal: greater understanding that leads to better choices and meaningful change.
